Adriafil Sierra Andina Knitting 100% Alpaca Knitting Yarn in 50g Balls and comes in Great Range of Various ShadesAdriafil Sierra Andina DK or 4 Ply yarn is made up of top-grade pure alpaca fibre so you know that this is gonna be real good. Ethically sourced from responsible farmers as is the way of Adriafil this lush yarn comes from only happy alpacas so there is happiness and love all around. An abundance of colours in the palette to choose from, solid rich shades, earthy neutrals as well as gentle pastels and classy tweeds provides ample scope to produce something to reflect your style, mood or occasion as well as something special for babies and children if you are feeling brave, generous or optimistic that someone will follow washing instructions. The yarn knits up to a classic dk tension on 3.5mm needles, although you could test it out on 4ply patterns if you wish, but scale down your needle size to match and I advise check tension. Comes in 50g donuts. Tension gauge measured by 4" x 4" / 10cm x 10cm swatch Colours may vary from those shown.

Ideal as a jumper for my husband
I have used this yarn before for a jumper for my husband,now starting to wear for years later after constant use.I have just bought some more in a different colour way.I have used 23/4 mm needles to cast on the rib and 3.5mm to knit for a DK stocking stitch plain jumper.It is pleasant to knit with and as a finished article.It washes easily by hand.It arrives promptly well packaged in original Adriafil box useful for storing unused balls
