U-Shaped Cable Knitting Needles | 2 Needles | 2.25mm & 4mm | Pony
U shaped cable needles are handy for producing the intricate cables and lattices found on arans and aran type patterns. The u shape helps to stop stitches dropping off and the needle can't vanish down the arm of the sofa! The ends have points for easier knitting like the traditional needles. I have still to try them but they look good.
Ponys version is made of aluminium, powder coated with grey enamel stuff to give a tough but smooth coat.
There are two packs available:- small / medium - 2mm / 4mm and 6.5mm / 10mm.
For those of you who are new to knitting or are novices to cabling choose cable needles the same size or slightly smaller than the needles you are using in your garment.
