Description
No Scottish website would be complete without scottish kiltie people and haggises adorning it! These beautiful toys have alot of detail to get through. They are also quite large, Morag and Scotty stands about 13ins / 33cm high and Big Bobby the monster stands 15 ins / 38cm. They also use up scraps of yarn, most of these characters require 25g or less of each colour used except for Big Bobby of course which takes approx 170g.
The yarn weight used throughout is DK weight and the King Cole Dollymix is just perfect for these toys. The amount of stuffing required for the bigger figures is roughly about 200g or best part of a bag. Don't try skimping on this though coz you will regret it!
Needles used are 3mm / UK11 / USA 2 to give tightness and prevent stretching and distotion when stuffing the toy.
The Monster is knitted on 5mm / UK6 / USA 7
