Wendy Supreme Luxury Cotton Silk DK Knitting Yarn in 100g Balls and comes in Great Range of Various Shades

A new addition to Wendys' growing cotton collection is the Cotton & Silk DK. As the title hints, this is a cotton based yarn with 20% silk spun in to add tiny, soft clumps, which add texture and a mottled look to the yarn.

This yarn hasn't been given the mercerised treatment either so the feel is somewhat softer and has a matt finish, which suits it down to a Tee!  

Because it is a pretty standard Dk yarn it should  slot in as a good substitute for most cotton patterns, and can be mixed beautifully with other cottons but because cotton has no stretch it is a bit tighter on tension compared to say wool, or acrylic so expect it to knit up smaller if you trot along this choice path as a substitute.........

The colour palette is rich and friendly and would look good as granny squares!
