Sirdar Supersoft Aran
Cardigans are always useful especially for children as an extra layer to make sure they wrap up warm. A gilet is a good idea for those that don't like the extra bulk of a jacket or might otherwise trail sleeves in paint, glue or mud and it saves you from having to knit any of course. Knitted in Sirdar Supersoft Aran but you could easily use Hayfield Bonus Aran or Wendy Aran if you want a bit of wool content.
This pattern requires 4mm and 5mm needles.
