There are more patterns about for boys than there ever was although with boys design is difficult. The new heavier shades of Baby Crofter work well for boys and although the cable is a bit lost it still seems to work. This sweater can be worked with a shawl neck or a round neck but the shawl neck would make a cracking Christmas sweater. This can be knitted in any of the wide Sirdar baby range or Rialto Dk if you prefer something plain or more simple to look at. This pattern requires 1 pair of 4mm (UK8) needles, 1 pair of 3.25mm (UK10) needles, a cable needle and stitch holders. Colours may vary from those shown. |
