DK Pattern for Coats and Hats with Ears - Peter Pan DK 1157
Nice, generous fitting coats to keep wee tots warm in cooler months. When they are is hard to predict...... Knitted in basketweave stitch a simple textured pattern to follow, and looks rather lovely once achieved. The thing about hats with ears is a mystery but it seems to appeal and if the hat is tied on to the head gives you something else to grab on to and it does look rather cute, kind of.
Knitted in Peter Pan Dk, as timeless as having babies but this will work beautifully with Moondust Dk or the sumptuous Baby Merino Dk
If you choose something else always check the tension first coz Peter Pans tension is slightly funny!
The pattern goes up to 22 inches and includes premature and small baby sizes although for a tiny baby you might as well sew up the bottom and make it into a sleeping bag....
Just add 3.25mm and 4mm knitting pins and buttons.
