Wendy Merino 4ply
Fair Isle is back in fashion big time and Wendys' new Merino 4ply is perfect for this style of knitting, and just because it is 4ply doesn't mean it isn't warm. Because of the ptterning there are two layers of yarn.
Very much a labour of love traditionally like the cables the patterns often represented things or memories associated with a family.
This in itself isn't too omplicated; each pattern section consists of just two colours so you can concentrate on the pattern itself. One thing it won't be is boring!
Other helpful requirements other than yarn are 3.25mm knitting pins and stitch holders
