Wendy Merino DK
Fairisle is a real challenge but worth the effort. The sweater though is a good way to give it a bash! Knitted in Wendy Merino Dk, 100% pure merino bliss but another Dk will probably do as nicely, although I urge you to use the best quality you can afford as the work involved is obvious. Just remember to check your tension first though.
Other helpful requirements other than yarn are 3.25mm & 4mm knitting pins as well as 4.5mm needles for the sweater. Yarn bobbins can also be helpful here to create small balls of yarn neatly.
