Description
Aran pattern for a basic round neck sweater - Erika Knight
A wardrobe essential, a simple sweater pattern with a few tweaks to make it a little more fun....The sleeves are knitted in reverse stocking stitch, ie inside out and the back is longer than the front so the ribbing is split at the base.
If you wish this pattern is quite easy to modify if wished to make it shorter or have the sleeves the right way round, but then that would be boring!!
Knitted in the beautiful Wild Wool, a yarn made up of wool and nettles, an eco sustainable plant requiring no encouragement at all ( see my garden) spun together creates a yarn so amazingly soft but with a gentle lustre that justs adds light to the garment.
Erika Knight is a well respected and reknowned designer having worked with some of the leading yarn companies providing support for their yarns.
