The soothing sound of water dripping off the mill wheel watering the garden below brings up images of the wild flowers that spring to life wherever there is water, soil and sunlight. The sights and sounds of a garden are music to the soul, bringing a sense of peace and harmony. Mill Creek Garden brings the colours of the garden to fabric and quilts – verdant green, rich brown and the lavender and purple of the flowers that always find root in backyards.

We offer our fabrics in Fat Quarter Units. The minimum cut quantity is 1 Fat Quarter. So if one unit is purchased we will send 1 Fat Quarter

If you are purchasing more than 1 Fat Quarter (more than 1 unit) then you need to increase the number of units to suit how much fabric you need. For example 4 units will be 1 metre of fabric, which we will send as 1 piece of uncut fabric, unless otherwise requested in the order. List of units to width is:

• 2 units - ½ metre x the width of the bolt
• 4 units - 1 metre x the width of the bolt
• 6 units - 1 ½ metres  x the width of the bolt
• and so on

If purchasing an odd number of Fat Quarters (units) such as 3, 5 or 7 units etc. then we will be send the fabric as 1 piece plus 1 Fat Quarter (unless otherwise requested) eg:

• 3 units - 0.50m + 1 fat quarter
• 5 units - 1.00m + 1 fat quarter
• 7 units - 1.50m  + 1 fat quarter
• and so on

Fat Quarters – approximately  50cm x 56cm  / 20” x 22”

Fat Quarters are a 50cm length which is (times the width of the bolt) which is split in halfway along the width to give 56cm/22”

Some fabrics may have slightly different dimension due to the width of different bolts of fabrics.
