Who knew a broken box would be the perfect inspiration for a collection of fabric. Let us explain...Moving boxes of papers, vintage fabric swatches and miscellaneous stuff out to make way for a KT Quilt Shop expansion, the bottom fell out of a box and the contents slid down the stairs. Picking up and sorting through the mess, a set of holiday stencils were re-discovered. They were dated 1929 and were bought in a box of “good junk” at an auction. One of the stencils was a delightful candy cane cutout with holly leaves, berries and a bow. It was the perfect beginning for a Christmas collection. We hope you enjoy this cheerful collection as much as we do to create your own Sweet Holly Christmas.

And this particular fabric is significantly wider than the rest of the collection, making it perfect for backing large quilts! 

This bolt measures to approximately to 2.78m / 108" in width

We  offer our fabrics in Fat Quarter Units. The minimum cut quantity is 1 Fat Quarter. 

If you are purchasing more than 1 Fat Quarter (more than 1 unit) then you need to increase the number of units to suit how much fabric you need. For example 4 units will be 1 metre of fabric, which we will send as 1 piece of uncut fabric, unless otherwise requested in the order. List of units to width is:

• 2 units - ½ metre x the width of the bolt
• 4 units - 1 metre x the width of the bolt
• 6 units - 1 ½ metres x the width of the bolt
• and so on

If purchasing an odd number of Fat Quarters (units) such as 3, 5 or 7 units etc. then we will be sending the fabric as 1 piece plus 1 Fat Quarter (unless otherwise requested) eg:

• 3 units - 0.50m + 1 fat quarter
• 5 units - 1.00m + 1 fat quarter
• 7 units - 1.50m + 1 fat quarter
• and so on

Fat Quarters – approximately  50cm x 137cm  / 20” x 54”

Fat Quarters are a 50cm length which is (times the width of the bolt) which is split in halfway along the width to give 56cm/22”

Some fabrics may have slightly different dimension due to the width of different bolts of fabrics.
