Handmade patchwork tote bag, complete with boxed corners for greater depth while packing shopping/goods.
Made from 100% Cotton in a rainbow palette of colours from the "Grunge" collection by Moda Fabrics.
Body of bag: 19.5"L x 16.5"W (approx) (measured flat),Handles: 20"L (approx.)
Patchwork was designed, cut and pieced by me from scratch, as were all border strips and lining. For this one I tried to emulate a stairstep / brickwork style that looked quite intricate. Patchwork strips were cut and sewn by me, as were all borders, panels and lining.
