Adriafil Woolcot DK Knitting Yarn in a Great Range of Various Shades in 50g BallsBrand new for Autumn Winter 2020/2021, Adriafil Woolcot is unique in it's composition, structure, weight and colour range. This eco yarn consisting of 100% natural fibres is a blend of extrafine merino fibre (18 micron) with organic cotton fibre, thus having a low environmental impact. The innovative structure is called a 'soffilo' which comes from the Italian meaning of blow or puff where the merino fibres are not spun or twisted but rather 'Blown' into the hollow netlike tube of cotton which holds them in place. This process creates a swollen, soft and lightweight yarn, so you get a very high meterage for the weight, 150m metres per 50g for this DK yarn, so you need fewer balls for your project. Available in a beautiful range of colours all with a melange effect where the dyed merino fibres lie within the reticular structure of the undyed natural cotton. Garments made in Woolcot yarn have a lovely natural look and are very snuggly yet lightweight.
