A place where magic lights glitter, and frost glistens on the air. Colours dance across the sky, shifting beams rippling beyond compare.
Fly past the snowy owl, in graceful flight so swift. Soaring over wild lands, as animals move below in the drift.
Hiding under mounds of snow, see the snow hares play. Teasing arctic foxes, then skipping nimbly away.
In frosted sprigs the white bear sits, worshipping light and stars. Watching as they twinkle, so vast and very far.
Let the gentle wind take you, beyond the frozen sea. Where seals leap from sight, and narwhals splash around in glee.
Here is the true north, a land of myth and ice. You journeyed here on stardust, to the dreamers' paradise."

This beautiful collection, from Lewis & Irenes' designer Cassandra Connolly, shows various animals that inhabit the icy Arctic, with narwhals playfully swimming in the frozen sea, little arctic foxes looking for carefully hidden hares as the snow owls glide overhead the cheeky seals. This fabric is designed to depict her poem above. This fabric, within the beautiful patterns, has embellishments of a white pearlescence, to make the designs shine.

We measure our fabrics in Fat Quarter Units. The minimum cut quantity is 1 Fat Quarter. So if one unit is purchased we will send 1 Fat Quarter.

Customers purchasing more than Fat Quarter (more than 1 unit) in multiples of 2, 4, 6 etc will receive their fabric as 1 piece.

• 2 units - ½ metre x the width of the bolt
• 4 units - 1 metre x the width of the bolt
• 6 units - 1 ½ metres x the width of the bolt
• and so on

If purchasing an odd quantity such as 3, 5 or 7 units etc, is ordered, then we will send the fabric as 1 piece with an extra quarter eg:

• 1 unit - 1 fat quarter
• 3 units - 0.75cm
• 5 units - 1.25m
• 7 units - 1.75m 
• and so on

Fat Quarters – approximately  50cm x 56cm  / 20” x 22”

Fat Quarters are a 50cm length which is (times the width of the bolt) which is split in half along the width to give 56cm/22”

Some fabrics may have slightly different dimension due to the width of different bolts of fabrics.
