Both are simple stockinette but the yarn, Baby Blossom DK, is dyed to create the look of gradated stripes separated by bands of Fair Isle-style flowers and leaves--no stranding or following charts! The pinafore is knit flat in one piece, with a seam at the lower back and buttons closing the upper back. The body is stockinette with garter stitch edgings. The sweater is sized for infant to 2 years.
