BC Garn Northern Lights GOTS Aran Knitting Yarn in 100g Balls and a Great Range of Various ShadesA luscious combination of 80% wool and 20% silk in a rainbow of glorious yarns. Soft with specks of light created by the silk like stars in the sky hence its name. This yarn is an aran weight which ensures your work will develop quickly and makes it ideal for all seasons. Northern Lights has good stitch definition. Since it is a worsted weight yarn, its drape is medium, but the knitted fabric has some thickness to it. Northern Lights is very soft but not woolly and is suitable for sensitive adults as well as children and babies. The raw wool is from mulesing-free farms in South America, the silk from India. Northern Lights is spun and dyed in Turkey.
