Pyrography is a fascinating craft that has existed since ancient times! Archaeologists have found evidence of this technique being used in ancient Egypt, China, Rome and even Peru as far back as 700AD!  

And these days it's still a very popular craft! And all pyrography craft starts with the tools! And in this case, a pyrography wand or a Wood Burning Tool!

And this particular tool is a simple plug-in electric wood burner that comes with a few basic things to get you started, including:

• 7 different pyrograph pen nibs, 3 with motifs and 4 that can be used to write or draw your own designs!
• A heat-insulated stand to prop the wand on to when it's in use or needs to cool,
• and instructions on the basic dos and don'ts when using the tool!

And you're good to go! Appropriate surfaces for pyrography include wood, real leather, faux leather and cork!

And to change the nibs simply screw them into the holder by hand or tweezers. If they get stuck, carefully loosen them with a pair of pliers, then unscrew by hand!
