Daler Rowney Retouching Varnish for Oil Colour 175ml

This versatile varnish is used to bring back the original paint quality of dry or dull oil. Retouching Varnish also offers surface protection and UV resistance. 

It is much thinner than final top coat varnishes.

It can be used as a dust barrier layer as soon as oil colour is touch dry, since oil colour can continue to dry out through the retouching varnish once it has cured.

Retouching Varnish can be removed with turpentine or white spirit prior to final varnishing or it can be left underneath.

It is not intended to be left as a final layer of protection due to it being thinner than a standard varnish.
