Traditionally the most popular weight of yarn used for working with. Also known as 8 ply the garments produced are easy and comfortable to wear in most seasons including cool summer evenings. It knits up reasonably quickly but not for the impatient! This yarn comes in many qualities and different fibre types from pure wool to milk protein which affects feel, finish and durability , and always remember you get what you pay for! Knits up on 4mm pins/ crochets to 4mm average. but always check your tension!
