Description
Foxes on Light Terracotta | Old Quercus | A939 | Lewis and Irene
Inspired by the majesty of the oak, Quercus — Latin for “oak tree” — celebrates strength, longevity, and timeless beauty.
The Old Quercus fabric collection captures the natural world that thrives around these ancient trees — with owls, foxes, squirrels, and acorns woven into its charming double-edge border design. The rich autumnal tones reflect the changing leaves and evoke the warmth and nostalgia of a woodland walk in fall.
A beautiful fabric to create cosy makes for the chillier seasons.
We offer our fabrics in quarter units. The minimum cut quantity is one fat quarter. So, if 1 unit is purchased, we will send out one fat quarter piece.
Customers purchasing in even units such as 2, 4, 6, etc, will be measured in half metres and will be sent in one piece, for example:
- 2 units - ½ metre x the width of the bolt,
- 4 units - 1 metre x the width of the bolt,
- 6 units - 1 ½ metres x the width of the bolt,
- 8 units - 2 metres x the width of the bolt,
- and so on...
If purchasing an odd quantity such as 3, 5 or 7 units, etc, is ordered, then we will send the fabric as one piece with an extra quarter, eg:
- 1 unit - 1 fat quarter, 50cm x ½ the width of the bolt
- 3 units - 0.75cm x the width of the bolt,
- 5 units - 1.25m x the width of the bolt,
- 7 units - 1.75m x the width of the bolt,
- and so on...
A Fat Quarter is a 50cm piece split in half along the width to give an approximately 50 x 56cm piece. In short, it is a half-metre piece cut in half to make a 50cm square.
So, Fat Quarters are approximately 50cm x 56cm or 20” x 22”, though please note that the width may vary depending on the width of the fabric.
