King Cole Wildwood Chunky Recycled Yarn in 100g Balls and 10 Beautiful Shades
Well, fancy that!! 100% recycled wool in gorgeous traditional style chunky yarn. Beautifully spun with a tight twist this yarn is easy to handle, looks good when knitted up and the palette is simple, made up of colours that are easy on the eye and work well together.
This is not the softest wool out there, being a mix of varying grades of wool, which gives the yarn a slightly harder feel, but this will soften with washing, but on this note, this is not ideal for small children or those with sensitive skins!!!
As a recycled fibre this yarn is really best not stuck in a washing machine, but may we recommend using Eucalan, a gentle detergent that works as a soak for woolly garments and delicates which cleans, conditions and freshens up all in one so you aren't left with the "wet Sheep" smell!
Please also bear in mind that the tension may be slightly different to other chunkies so we advise a tension square just to check this out if this a substitute for another chunky!
