Lewis and Irene's Hajime 7 Fat Quarter Bundle Designed by Stuart Hillard
The Japanese word for 'beginning' or 'to start', is quite an appropriate title for this collection as it is the first collection produced by Stuart Hillard for Lewis and Irene, and Stuart himself said his inspirations for this collection came from closely observing thick paint strokes on paper, hatching lines made in pencil, the weaves and stitches in material and looking at the variety of kimono patterns, particularly patterns for men's kimonos and the Hajime was the result! Within this range are patterns flourished in blues and indigoes with bursts of florals, streams of colour and embroidered flowers. What a way to make a start!
