No need for pre-washing
Less than 1% shrinkage
If pre-washing is desired handwash and dry naturally. Use warm water and mild detergegent, soak for 15 minutes, squeeze out excess water by rolling in a towel and dry naturally by laying flat.
After quilting the Super Soft Polyester wadding can be machine washed and then cool tumble dry.
* Scrim is a very light weight glue layer that is added to batting for strength during the manufacturing process.
Battings that contain scrim are generally more stable and have less stretch than those without scrim.
When using place scrim side closest to the backing fabric.
The scrim side can be seen on the edge of some battings and can be lifted as a fine layer at the corner of others. As wadding or batting is needle punched top - down the bottom layer has uppity bumps and feels rougher than the top. The scrim layer can be identified as a dense layer as against the wadding fibres.
This item is sold in half metres to allow extra flexibility in purchasing
So if you want 2.5 metres then order a quantity of 5. This will come as a complete piece unless requested otherwise.
