Description
Rosalyn - Lace weight pattern for a shawl | West Yorkshire Spinners
West Yorkshire Spinners designers seem to favour unusual shaped shawls. This shawl is shaped like a wedge, to be worn draped heavily over one shoulder, or like a scarf. This does have the advantage of offering extra warmth while sitting well around the neck. Also gives the opportunity to show off some fancy stitch work!
The pattern is in both chart and written down form. Please note for left handed folk to remember that the chart that the right side rows are right to lef, or you could copy the chart and flip it over so it reads the other way...
Please note that the first size uses all the skein so make sure your tension is correct!
Also remember lace needs to be blocked to ensure the right shape is maintained
