Tension: Before washing: 20 sts and 28 rows to 10 cm measured over st st, 24 sts and 31 rows to 10 cm measured over patt, both using 4mm (US 6) needles. After washing: 20 sts and 32 rows to 10 cm measured over st st, 24 sts and 35 rows to 10 cm measured over patt, both using 4mm (US 6) needles. Tension note: Denim will shrink in length when washed for the first time. Allowances have been made in the pattern for shrinkage (see size diagram for after washing measurements).
