An easy to wear extra layer to pull on when its getting a bit nippy in the evenings. 

This pattern is knitted the traditional way, but the pattern suggests using circular needles.

The 5 mm circular is used for the armholes and finishing off the gilet edge at the front so a decent length, 60 cm may be needed. Inter-changeable needles are helpful for this 

Circular needles are easy to use as an alternative to straight and many people find this technique easier on hands and arms as the work sits in the lap and not supported by the arms.

Feel free to use straights if preferred.  

This pattern showcases the beauty of the Adriafil Filnovo yarn, a blend of extra fine merino with kid mohair to produce a yarn so light it is like a cloud!

The colourway is a mix of broad stripes and phased colours with a stunning result.
