Collections for a Cause, Mill Book Series 1892 Fabric Pattern Design by Designer Howard Marcus from Moda Fabrics Range of Individual Fabric Patterns

The latest collection in the Collection for a Cause Series from Moda reproduces fabrics from a circa 1892 French mill book. The mill book contains hundreds of antique swatches documenting prints of the time. Authentic in color and in scale, this beautiful collection showcases the fine, delicate print quality of the period. The 1892 mill book is part of the Howard Marcus Collection. Moda's owner and founder, Howard Marcus Dunn, continues to share his passion for giving by donating proceeds from his Collections for a Cause fabrics to various charities and causes.

We offer our fabrics in Fat Quarter Units. The minimum cut quantity is 1 Fat Quarter. 

If you are purchasing more than 1 Fat Quarter (more than 1 unit) then you need to increase the number of units to suit how much fabric you need. For example 4 units will be 1 metre of fabric, which we will send as 1 piece of uncut fabric, unless otherwise requested in the order. List of units to width is:

• 2 units - ½ metre x the width of the bolt
• 4 units - 1 metre x the width of the bolt
• 6 units - 1 ½ metres x the width of the bolt
• and so on

If purchasing an odd number of Fat Quarters (units) such as 3, 5 or 7 units etc. then we will be send the fabric as 1 piece plus 1 Fat Quarter (unless otherwise requested) eg:

• 3 units - 0.50m + 1 fat quarter
• 5 units - 1.00m + 1 fat quarter
• 7 units - 1.50m + 1 fat quarter
• and so on

Fat Quarters – approximately  50cm x 56cm  / 20” x 22”

Fat Quarters are a 50cm length which is (times the width of the bolt) which is split in halfway along the width to give 56cm/22”

Some fabrics may have slightly different dimension due to the width of different bolts of fabrics.
