A handy dandy medium-sized drawstring bag is great for a few uses and even better, this one comes with a lovely design of a mermaid, happily floating in the sea surrounded by various shells and sealife! And decorating this magical creature can be done in numerous ways too! Here are a few we suggest.

An obvious choice is fabric paint. First, you need to prep the bag, we'd recommend stretching it over a flat and solid surface to prevent dragging of any loose fabric when working. Sticking a piece of cardboard or mount inside the bag and stretching the front over the board would do the job. Fabric pens are another good choice, just remember to use the method of prepping the bag first as mentioned before.

Another fun idea is sewing decorative items into your bag. Buttons, diamantes, ribbons and colourful threads would make quite a unique design

And once decorated your bag can be used for carrying shopping, school books, clothes for P.E or the gym or in case you need to swap them over, a pair of spare shoes!
