If you want an excuse for giving granny squares a try this could be it!  An interesting mix of crochet and knitting and I think it works. You could use an entirely different aran for a massive contrast but the cheery nature of this yarn makes me want to stick with their choice. Knitted in Sirdar Giselle aran, a warm and inviting space dyed number with glittry bits of copper entwined therein. You can easily substitute another aran if you prefer something a bit calmer and I think it would look boring!

Other helpful requirements other than yarn are 4mm and 5mm knitting pins and a 5 mm crochet hook.
