Persian Tiles Crochet Blanket Pattern | Janie Crow
Jewel like motifs, the source of inspiration - Persian and Moroccan tiles shines through!
Made up of four different motif designs:- the floral, spicy octagonal design, the smaller Granny Square, a large Granny triangle and a little Granny Triangle.
The pattern is written in B British terminology, but the US stitches are given in a chart to help.
The large octagonal motif is shown in clear step-by-step instruction with photos to help keep you right.
All pieces are both charted and written out to help all followers of either camp so whether the symbols are your thing or they look like hieroglyphs everyone is included!
While it doesn't say this is possibly best for those with a little experience.
Information and advice on blocking, pressing, making up and edging are included.
The finished size if all motifs are completed at the correct tension should be approx 45" / 115 cm square.
Made originally for Stylecraft Life DK, a 100g (298 m) yarn made up of 25% wool and 75% acrylic, but any standard dk will do as well
