The Bella Solid Collection is made from 100% cotton with a premium 60-square construction, giving them a lovely soft feel and just the right amount of structure—perfect for quilt piecing. With a huge range of colours to choose from, there’s something to suit every style. Many shades are specially chosen to match beautifully with Moda’s printed fabric collections, making it easy to mix and match with confidence. We offer our fabrics in quarter units. The minimum cut quantity is one fat quarter, so if 1 unit is purchased, we will send out one fat quarter piece. Customers purchasing in even units such as 2, 4, 6 etc, will be measured in half metres and will be sent in one piece, for example:
If purchasing an odd quantity such as 3, 5 or 7 units, etc, is ordered, then we will send the fabric as one piece with an extra quarter, eg:
A Fat Quarter is a 50cm piece split in half along the width to give an approximately 50 x 56cm piece. In short, it is a half-metre piece cut in half to make a 50cm square. So, Fat Quarters are approximately 50cm x 56cm or 20” x 22”, though please note that the width may vary depending on the width of the fabric. *Please note!
